Introduction

DIAMOND SYSTEMS CORPORATION, founded in 1989, provides compact, rugged embedded computing solutions to customers around the world in a wide range of industries. They deliver both board-level products and system-level solutions incorporating these products. Their expertise is in analog I/O technology, high integration, customization, and rugged design. Their embedded single board computers provide a unique level of integration by incorporating CPU, data acquisition and other features right on the board, reducing size and cost. Their analog I/O capabilities include their patented, best-in-class autocalibration technology that reduces analog measurement errors by a factor of 10 over competitors’ solutions.

Their products are designed by their staff of engineers and built by turnkey manufacturers with ISO9000 certificaction. Quality is an important part of their business strategy. All products undergo full functional test during production, with test results recorded in an online database. All product designs are fully qualified over their rated operating temperature before being introduced to the marketplace. Their adherence to PC/104 and other open standards enables them to quickly acquire new technologies to enhance their product line, while simultaneously giving customers the benefits of easy system expansion and protection from obsolescence.
